Policy
This policy explains what personal information CREOVANTA LLC collects, why we collect it, who we share it with and what rights you have. It applies to creovantallc.com and to our client relationships.
1. Who we are
CREOVANTA LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of {{STATE}}, United States, registered address {{BUSINESS ADDRESS}}, is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at contact@creovantallc.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: name, business name, email address and, if you provide it, phone number.
- Enquiry content: the service you are interested in, budget range and the project details you write to us.
- Client and billing details: billing name and address, invoice records and correspondence.
- Project materials: any files, images, footage, copy or account information you send us to complete the work.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data from your visit: IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed and timestamps, collected by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
We do not collect or store payment card numbers. Card data is entered directly with our payment processor and handled under its own security standards.
3. Why we use it
- To respond to enquiries and prepare quotes.
- To deliver the services you have engaged us for.
- To issue invoices, take payment and keep accounting records.
- To communicate about active projects, renewals and support requests.
- To keep the website secure, available and free of abuse.
- To comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
4. Legal bases (UK and EEA visitors)
- Performance of a contract — to deliver services you have ordered and to bill for them.
- Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries, secure our site and manage our business, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation — to retain financial and tax records.
- Consent — where we ask for it, for example optional analytics. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate, and only as far as needed:
- Hosting and delivery — our website is hosted and served by a cloud hosting provider.
- Payment processing — our payment processor handles card and bank payments and holds the card data itself.
- Email and productivity — email, file storage and project tools used to correspond with you and manage delivery.
- Professional advisers — accountants and, where necessary, legal advisers.
- Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose.
Where we manage advertising campaigns for you, we act within your own platform accounts under your instructions. We do not transfer your customer data between clients.
6. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies and does not run third-party advertising pixels. Cookies or similar storage may be set by our hosting provider strictly to keep the site secure and functioning. If we add optional analytics in future, this policy will be updated and consent requested where the law requires it.
Fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of that request. You can block third-party font loading in your browser if you prefer.
7. International transfers
We are based in the United States and use service providers that may process data in the United States and elsewhere. Where personal information is transferred out of the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
8. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months.
- Client records, contracts and correspondence: for the relationship plus 6 years.
- Invoices and financial records: at least 7 years, as required for tax purposes.
- Project files: up to 12 months after delivery unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Server logs: typically up to 30 days.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; receive it in a portable format; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what we collect, to request deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
To exercise any right, email contact@creovantallc.com. We respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first. If you are in the UK or EEA and are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, multi-factor authentication on business accounts, and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold.
11. Children
Our services are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page shows the current version. Material changes affecting existing clients are notified by email.
